A co-production with Red Monkey Theater Group
It’s Christmas at 221B Baker Street, and you’re following Sherlock Holmes (Tal Aviezer) and Dr. Watson (Mikel Von Brodbeck) on a trip through Victorian London (played by the inimitable Lyndhurst Mansion), on the trail of a classic mystery. Together with the famous detectives, we’ll explore the mansion room-by-room as we’re drawn deeper into the secrets of the Blue Carbuncle.
M&M Performing Arts and Red Monkey Theater Group brought this fun performance to Lyndhurst from November 15 through December 8, 2017. Sherlock Holmes: The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle was adapted by Tal Aviezer from the story by Arthur Conan Doyle and was directed by Melinda O’Brien. The cast included: Rick Apicella, Kelly Kirby, Melinda O’Brien and Steven Plaushin.
Performances moved through several rooms of Lyndhurst Mansion.
Lyndhurst, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, is a Gothic Revival masterpiece on the banks of the Hudson River in Tarrytown, NY at 635 South Broadway (Route 9).
